Currently the Association has many member organisations ranging from international to local NGOs. There are four different kinds of membership levels, of which the full and individual membership allows the members to vote in Triennial General Meeting (TGM) and/or Special General Meeting (SGM) and the associate and sponsor members are considered as merely supportive memberships. Below is a table outlining our membership.

Membership has voting rights and is open to national and regional non-governmental organisations which support and engage in training in the field of participatory ecological land use management (pelum)
Membership has no voting rights is open to international non-governmental organizations, networks, government organizations and parastatals
Membership has no voting rights and is open to any organization/persons wishing to sponsor the efforts of the Association
Membership has no voting rights and is open to all individuals
The reason for having full members as only those NGOs whose policies are made in the region is to retain the sense of ownership and to ensure that PELUM Association remains a true indigenous network of African NGOs.Our Partners have a national presence across Zambia, as shown on the map below:
