Our Team

One of PELUM Zambia´s strategic objectives includes its human resources. A functional Secretariat made up of suitability qualified and well motivated staff is essential ‘engine’ of the organisation and PELUM Zambia continuously strengthens the capacities of the personnel to offer quality service for its members. Below you find the descriptions of our present Secretariat members.

Mr. Muketoi Wamunyima – Country Secretariat Co-ordinator

Mr. M. Wamunyima has over 10 years from the public sector, having worked at middle and senior management levels, designing and implementing policies in the Land and agriculture sector, youth and child development, as well as in the water sector. He joined PELUM Association as a Projects Manager before taking up the role of Country Coordinator.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree, having majored in Sociology and a minor in Development Studies, and a Master of Business Administration. He has experience in research methodologies, policy analysis, strategic planning and organisational development skills.

Ms Etinala Tembo – Assistant Programme Officer

Ms Tembo has over 12 years work experience in NGO work. She has worked at Community level as Community Development Facilitator in primary health care and sanitation; food security and income generation; sponsorship and capacity building; early childhood care and development; and community mobilization.
Ms Tembo has been trained in research ethics, project planning and management, presentation skills, peer education, AIDS competence and gender awareness.

Upcoming Event

The objectives of the meeting are:
1. Critically, evaluate the progress made and challenges met,
2. Develop a way forward in developing the agroecology strategy,
3. Identify areas of input into the 8th national development plan and
4. Recommend 2021 engagements.
5. Share information on work done in 2020.
