IFOAM Trains Teams of Trainers In Zambia
IFOAM in collaboration with Knowledge Hub For Organic Agriculture and Agroecology in Africa(KHSA) and PELUM Zambia has conducted the refresher training for teams of trainers in Zambia. The training brings together master trainers trained by IFOAM and other master trainers to harness a sense of community and belonging. It also aims at making effective the training methodologies to make future training of multipliers more successful.
Among the topics covered is facilitation, organic markets, Participatory Guarantee System certification and soil fertility management. A total of 15 master trainers attended the training.
In 2021, IFOAM conducted the first training in Zambia for teams for trainers which saw a total of 19 master trainers from Zambia and Zimbabwe trained.
